Since 2018 Lignano Golf Course has been home to the Golf Sport Academy, run by Thomas Feyrsinger, a professional golfer with more than 10,000 coaching hours to his credit. After opening his first Academy in Kitzbühel in 2013, Thomas decided Golf Club Lignano would be the perfect place to open his second Golf Sport Academy. Here he teaches the unique appeal of golf, which is a perfect combination of technique, concentration and constant practice. Golf Club Lignano offers a friendly environment fully equipped for learning and improving your game. Thomas Feyrsinger heads a team of highly qualified golf professionals with extensive coaching and competition experience.

Thomas Feyrsinger, together with Ulf Wendiling and his assistants, is responsible for all the coaching at Golf Club Lignano. Various courses are available – trial lessons for people wanting to try golf for the first time, group courses for younger people, and workshops specialising in specific areas of the game (scoring workshop, bioswing dynamics, chipping clinic, putting clinic, and more). Our experienced and enthusiastic Academy coaches will make the game even more interesting and exciting. Lessons with our professional golfers improve your technique, your performance on the green and your rhythm. Technology is used to work on areas that are often not visible to the naked eye.

Teaching Studio
What makes the Golf Club Lignano Golf Sport Academy unique is its teaching studio, built in 2023:
the studio offers hi-tech teaching to improve your game together with your coaches.
The studio is located in a small building entirely lined in Southwest Greens synthetic grass, the best on the market, which can perfectly reproduce the effect of the game on natural grass.
The climate-controlled building allows play in all weather conditions, and has space for up to two players at the same time.
Trackman technology analyses your game, recording the trajectory of every shot played during a training session. Trackman Video Analysis replays your action using high-speed video recording. The Trackman Simulator enables you to play on the most famous golf courses on the planet with a high-definition 4:3 screen.
